We started with one question: why is it so hard to find a clinic in Ulaanbaatar where parents feel genuinely calm leaving their child?
How we began
PororoMed opened its doors as a small pediatric practice with a single conviction: every visit should feel unhurried, every diagnosis evidence-based, and every parent treated as a partner in their child's care.
That conviction has shaped every decision since: which guidelines we follow, how long we book each appointment, who we hire, how we lay out our rooms, and how we talk to children.
Today PororoMed is run by Yumeino Machi LLC and serves families across Ulaanbaatar, but the practice still works the way it did on its first day: slow, careful, and on the child's side.
How we work
Evidence-based, not opinion-based
Our protocols follow the latest international pediatric guidelines (AAP, NICE, WHO). When research updates, our practice updates with it. We tell parents what the evidence says, including when the honest answer is "we watch and wait."
Parents stay in the room
Children settle faster when their parent is beside them, and parents make better decisions when they see and hear what we see and hear. Every examination, every conversation, every choice happens with you present.
Time is the medicine
A rushed visit is a missed diagnosis. We block longer appointment windows than the city average, so the doctor can listen, examine, explain, and answer questions properly. The schedule serves the child, not the other way around.
